Challenges Accepted

January 10, 2014

I have officially completed the first week of my second semester! Honestly, my semester seems so relaxing because I have Mondays and Fridays off. Hooray for 4 day weekends!  I think what I'm most looking forward to this semester is not my long weekend but rather that I can sleep in for two extra days. Let's hope that I don't begin to slack off! Challenge 1: still try to treat Mon and Fri as school days this semester. I have so much time now so I was planning on heading to the mall today. I got all dressed up and then being my indecisive self ended up staying at home. Well, here's my outfit!

Dress: Uniqlo (Similar or Similar) // Cardigan: Aritzia (Similar) // Leggings: Garage // Boots: Spring (Similar or Similar) // Socks: Forever 21 // Bag: Aldo (Exact)

(So um, I'm normally not supposed to wear my outdoor shoes inside the house... so I hope my parents don't see this post hehe. Strict rule in the house to keep the floors clean inside. I wiped the bottom of my shoes before I took these pictures though!)

Has anyone started their resolutions yet? I'm surprised that I actually started on my goals within the first week of January. Guess who went to the gym for the first time in two years? To be truly honest, I think the last time that I had a workout that could be called a "workout" was when I did track and field back in 2012. Challenge 2: continue going to the gym AT LEAST once a week.

I've also been playing a lot with my camera lately. Taking photos without a remote control using self-timer with bad backdrops can be quite hard because I can never get the camera to focus well on my own. It's also difficult for me to find a good time to take photos too because when family members are around, I'll feel embarrassed and uncomfortable. I get the same feeling when I want to take photos at school. I just feel all these eyes staring at me... Challenge 3: learn to take outfit photos on my own. Challenge 4: somehow learn to feel comfortable when taking outfit pictures.

So what resolutions have you started? :)

  1. That is so great that you have 4 day weekends! So jealous of that!
And I was the same way about using the timer and pics being blurry. Very frustrating. I found a universal remote on Amazon for $8 and it's def worth it! Although, my first preference is to always have my husband take them!
    PS I love that bag!
