Long time no see! Almost two months in and this is my first post of 2016. I haven't had the time or passion to blog for the past 5 months. A lot has been happening that I'll mention briefly about each below.

Winter has been interesting this year. Back in late December, I remember wearing my fall jacket and just last week, it was feeling like almost -40C. This outfit here has probably been the only "fashionable" thing I've worn this winter that keeps me warm enough under my jacket. These leggings probably don't look that warm but they're fleece lined and so comfortable. As you can see, the weather got better this week which is also why I was able to take pictures outside without freezing. In addition with my morning classes, I'm just so tired that I don't want to spend energy on picking out clothes to wear.

My final year of undergrad has officially begun! I'm not exactly excited about it just because it all seems too fast. Seriously, I'll be applying to my Master's starting in late October... it honestly feels like I've been in university for less than two years. Hopefully I'll get into my program and I'll have two more first days of school to look forward to!

Hello! I hope you didn't forget about me. I've been gone from the blog for quite some time now but with good reason. School just took over and along with volunteering and the snow, I just couldn't find the time and motivation to update. Luckily, school is finally done for this year so I'll be blogging a bit more.

The forecast this week is looking so nice which means it's time to break out the skirts. I've been waiting forever to start wearing them again (without leggings) but it never got warmer until now. No joke, I've been planning to wear this outfit probably since January because I was so in love with the skirt and the oxfords.

I had very mixed feelings with school starting this year. On one hand, I was excited to go to school because I could finally do something productive with my time and learn. On the other hand, I would have to start studying again and not be able to sleep in all the time. That... is my shameful first world problem.

Anyways, as a continuation of my post last year, here's another first day of school outfit post. I've been really loving these red TOMS lately- I'm enjoying wearing some brighter colours before fall comes.

If you know me well, you know that I love to buy things online. The ease of just sitting and shopping at the same time is so much more relaxing. eShakti was a new website to me so when they contacted me to do a review, I was very excited because their clothes looked awesome online. The shopping experience I had with them was different; in short, it was easy, simple, and fun. I chose a plain black dress but they have so many more options for whatever style of clothing you like.

I took these pictures awhile back since you can still see some snow in the background. Funny thing though, it actually snowed yesterday. It's not normal! I've never really experienced snow in mid April- we had 20 some odd degree weather a few days ago and the next morning, I woke up to everything covered in white.

The perks of having a sister who is the same size as you is getting to share clothes. The boots and the scarf I'm wearing are my sister's and she gave me the tee as well. Good thing she lets me wear her clothes or else I would have to sneakily go into her closet. With my sister, I go with the saying, "what is yours is mine."

I'm back! This has got to be the longest break I've taken from my blog but hey, I have one more week of classes until my final exams! To add on top of my excitement, spring is finally coming... I can feel it. The snow is sloooooowly melting. Normally around this time, most if not all of the snow would have been gone by now. I'm happy that the temperatures got slightly warmer today so I finally got a chance to break out my new spring jacket. I like how the gold detailing makes this jacket a bit different from the ones I've seen in other stores.
